In close collaboration with Atelier de l’Avenir, we studied all the wood-frame curtain walls. The sections of wood were defined but also and especially, the various assemblies. We had to respect the different architectural and technical constraints to precisely design the numerous fastening systems. All the frames were prefabricated in the workshop in order to accelerate the installation on site.
Some complex connections were optimized using a finite element analysis.
It was necessary to match the habits of the company and the challenges of prefabrication.
