Development of typical single-family homes for low-budget people
On behalf of the NFPO Habitat and Humanism, we have been entrusted with the mission of design, optimization, 3D drawing and production of manufactoring plans for 8 wood-frame houses with straw bales insulation. Two standard modules of 120m² have been planned, making it possible to adapt to any terrain configuration.
The different houses each rest on a raft slab and are made of co-responsible materials : wood for the structure, straw for insulation and clay as a finishing coating.
The project is divided into two phases. The first four houses were built by a qualified company in order to develop together a mounting / manufactoring process. The next four houses were built by EFT (Entreprise de Formation par le Travail Contrepoint).
The essence of the project, and therefore the ambition of Habitat and Humanism, is to build ecological, healthy, sustainable homes while having a social vocation.
We engineer low-carbon structures.
Through close collaboration, we create resilient and responsible solutions for your projects
