The Bercail project is composed of two adjacent buildings. A restaurant on two levels and a hotel on five levels. A hall and an 8m footbridge link the two buildings together.
The structure is a mixed system combining glulam columns, steel profile beams, walls in cross laminated timber CLT and floors and roofs in CLT or prefabricated boxes. The hotel is 20 meters high for 15 meters width. On its 40 meters long, it has a 13 meters cantilever. Three concrete V-shaped columns support the 4 levels above the cantilever. The restaurant is composed of two levels with a 200m² terrace on the first floor. The special feature of the restaurant is its pleated CLT roof.
