The customers wished a raising for their chalet located in the pretty village of Daverdisse.
A steel and glued laminated timber structure was designed to support the additional floor without transferring loads to the existing building. This was especially important since the clients wanted a partially planted and therefore very heavy roof deck.
Point foundations were installed to distribute the loads on the ground.
