The project “Verreries” is a 11-units building located in Jambes near Namur. The structure is principally in cross laminated timber CLT.
The project “Verreries” is a 4-storeys low-energy building. The complex includes 11 housing units: 1 house, 3 duplexes, 6 apartments and a penthouse. The structure, based on concrete piles, is a mixed structure. The garden level as well as ground floor slab in concrete then give way to a structure composed by CLT walls, CLT slabs and glulam beams. The elevator shaft is also made of CLT while the balconies and stairwells are on steel dials. All the executive plans, whether for the wood structure or for the joints, were realized thanks to CAD software Cadwork.
