It wasn’t until the invention of engineered wood products like glued laminated timber (glulam) and other innovations that enabled greater spans and the ability to bear heavier loads, that we witnessed a gradual resurgence of timber in construction.

When solutions are not found within existing codes, standards, or ongoing academic research, Ney & Partners WOW collaborates with universities to conduct tests and validate hypotheses.

For instance, one of our ventures involves the development of curved Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) using the lattice hinge method.
